If your student has already submitted an application to Avalon and you have been notified that he/she has been accepted, the next step is to attend an enrollment meeting. We are holding the first of these meetings on Tuesday, April 8, at 7pm. At this meeting there are many many forms for you to fill out. It is best if both a parent/guardian and a student can make this meeting. If April 8 does not work for you, please contact Gretchen in order to set up a different time to complete the paperwork. We only have a few openings in both the 7/8 program and the 9-12 program for the 2008-09 school year. If you are interested in enrolling a student for next year, please fill out an application as soon as possible. We have accepted all of the students who applied before the March 1 enrollment date. From here on out applications are taken on a first come/first serve basis until we are full. Please go to the ‘Apply’ page for further information. Our next enrollment open house is on March 20 at 7pm here at Avalon.

The Avalon Academic Decathlon Team brought home the small school division state championship trophy last night! As soon as I get the details about who won what I will post them. They brought home a lot of medals and scored so many points that they nearly won the big school division as well- keep in mind that we only have 145 kids in our high school! Congratulations to their wonderful coach, Jo Sullivan, and the great team! Yahoo!
