Apply to Avalon
There are openings for all grades for 2010-2011. All students who applied for 2010-11 before the March 1st deadline have been accepted. We still have a few openings available. If you are interested, please fill out the application found below and send it in. We do not have any more open houses scheduled for this year. Steps to Enrollment
Step 1
A prospective student visits the school with a parent/ guardian, either at an open house, presentation night, or through a scheduled tour.
Step 2 (only applicable during the school year- summer enrollees skip this step)
The student spends a school day at Avalon “shadowing” a current student. Middle School prospective students are asked to spend a half a day (9:00-11:50) instead of a whole day.
An application signed by the parent/guardian must be on file before this visit will be scheduled. The student will be expected to complete a “Documentation of Time & Learning Form” and a “Project Proposal” during the visit.
A prospective middle school student will be expected to complete such activities as assigned by middle school staff on that day.
Step 3.
A final enrollment meeting is scheduled to complete necessary paperwork and share expectations.
