Current Enrollment News: There are openings for the remainder of the 2009-2010 school year in grades 7 and 8. There is a waiting list for grades 9-12. There are openings for all grades for 2010-2011. All students who applied for 2010-11 before the March 1st deadline have been accepted. We still have a few openings available. If you are interested, please fill out the application found below and send it in. We have open houses scheduled for March 13 at 10:30 am and April 13 at 7pm if you would like more info about Avalon. Steps to Enrollment
Step 1
A prospective student visits the school with a parent/ guardian, either at an open house, presentation night, or through a scheduled tour.
Step 2
The student spends a school day at Avalon “shadowing” a current student. Middle School prospective students are asked to spend a half a day (9:00-11:50) instead of a whole day.
An application signed by the parent/guardian must be on file before this visit will be scheduled. The student will be expected to complete a “Documentation of Time & Learning Form” and a “Project Proposal” during the visit.
A prospective middle school student will be expected to complete such activities as assigned by middle school staff on that day.
Step 3.
A final enrollment meeting is scheduled to complete necessary paperwork and share expectations.
